The community participated in a seminar regarding “Dehumanization of Young Males of Color”.


The community participated in a seminar regarding “Dehumanization of Young Males of Color”.  Dr. Rhonda Bryant, renowned researcher and advocate of Boys and Young Men of Color, was the speaker.  There was also a panel that discussed their work and its impact on boys of color.  The panelist members were Rodney Washington, Ed.D. (Jackson State University Associate Professor and Program Evaluator), Rhea Bishop, (Director of MS and LA, W.K. Kellogg Foundation), Donna Ladd, (Editor and Chief for the Jackson Free Press), Donte Jones, (Program Coordinator, Families First for Mississippi) and our Moderator for the evening was Othor Cain, (Radio Personality and A-TEAAM Coordinator)
